Hallo, we need to move to another place and our small cottage "Casetta del Nibbio" and the annexed plot of land (almost half an hectar) are looking for a new owner/carekeeper. The house is located in the Abruzzo region in a beautiful area with mixed forest, olive trees, vineyards and pastures, 20 minutes from the Adriatic sea, 1 hr from the Abruzzo National Park. In the last 10 years a quite large group of international re-inhabitants arrived in the area starting permaculture projects and realizing ecological building.

Also our place has been managed for the last 12 years according to permaculture principles. There are several earthen buildings, including an earthen oven, an earthen mass heater, two water storages for rainwater harvesting and other sustainable equipments.

The main house is ca 68 sq. meters. There’s a garage of 27 sq. meters with a cob house at the first floor of the same dimension.

The orchard contains old varieties of different fruits and a small water stream that runs usually from October to June. A part of the land is mixed forest.

The place is so beautiful, peaceful and regenerating the soul that all the people ask us why we decided to sell our property and our home. It's the perfect place for people who want a holyday house in Italy, who like nature, who prefer to stay in a calm place where to think, write or rigenerate oneself. The location is ideal for cycling, jogging, horse riding, excursions etc.

Many of the houses sold in this area are in unconfortable positions, difficult to reach by car, with no parking. Here a small road passes right in front of the house but there's no traffic because just the neighboors drive on this road. More traffic is just during the main harvesting period when the wheat or the grapes are ready for harvesting.
