My name is Ruoxiang Zhao, I was born in Shenzhen, China, and I am currently a Junior studying Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. 

My passion for engineering started early when I learned how to disassemble toys as a child, and it translated into a life-long desire to understand how and why machines work the way they do. Throughout the years, I worked on four different automotive projects and spent 3 years working as a manager in my school's auto shop. Today, I spend most of my time drawing ideas on CAD and bringing them to life using 3D printing and coding, though I'll take any opportunity I get to craft and get my creativity flowing!
