My name is RunningRed NightBringer and I am a werewolf. If you're saying to yourself, "That's not your real name, that's not the name your parents gave you." I would respond that no, it's not my legal name, but it is my real name. It is a distinction I have been making for many decades, so you can bet that I damn well will respect someone's chosen pronouns and preferred name.
On the mundane side, I was born in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the early 1970s and grew up in the suburbs. In 2002 I moved to the state of Maine and have lived here ever since. My day job is IT Support for a small company in Southern Maine.
In the 90s
I am, in no particular order, a biblioholic, a furry, a hiker, a Whovian, a philosopher, a Brony, an amateur astronomer and a Trekkie. I am a member of the MaineFurs community and volunteer at both Furcationland and Anthrocon.
Spiritually I identify as a lunar-orientated therianthropic pagan. What this means is I follow a nature/earth religion path, but not a specific tradition like Wicca. My lycanthropy factors heavily in my spiritual self-identity and I have a deep reverence for The Moon. I am also an animist. I believe everything, from animals to trees, rocks and the sky, has some spiritual energy in it.
