Running from Boss — Privacy Policy

Running from Boss ("the game") is a single-player game for Android. This policy explains what information the game uses, where it goes, and the choices you have. The game has no accounts and no sign-in.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

The following is saved only on your device, is never sent to us, and is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data:

• The names you type for yourself and the boss, and the characters you pick.

• Your best distances, coins, and the items you have bought.

• Your conversation in the HR Room. HR is a set of pre-written replies built into the game. Nothing you type there is sent anywhere, read by a person, or processed by an online service.

We (the developer) do not run any servers for the game and do not receive, store, or sell any of your information.

ADVERTISING

The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the game may collect and send to Google:

• Your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers.

• Approximate location, derived from your IP address.

• Information about the device and app, such as model, operating system version, and language.

• How you interact with ads, such as views and taps.

• Diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information from the ads SDK.

Google uses this information to provide, personalise, and measure ads, and to prevent fraud. It is sent encrypted. How Google handles it is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your phone).

CONSENT IN THE EEA, UK AND SWITZERLAND

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy button at the top of the game's main menu.

SHARE AND RATE

The Share and Rate buttons open your phone's share sheet or the Google Play Store. The game passes them only the text and link being shared; what happens next is governed by the app you choose and by Google Play.

CHILDREN

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help.

YOUR CHOICES

• Clear the game's saved data at any time from Android Settings → Apps → Running from Boss → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling it.

• Clear the HR conversation from inside the HR Room.

• Manage ad personalisation as described above.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address and in the game, with a new effective date.
