• Full payment is required 14 days before the course date.

• If you need to make a cancelation:

  • >30 days full refund.

  • 14-30 days 50% refund.

  • <14 days no refund

• In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the course, I will give you a full refund and make every effort to provide alternative dates.

My statement of participation

I am a fully qualified Mountain Leader and member of the Mountain Training Association. I also hold first aid qualifications and insurance. Mountain activities do have a danger of personal injury and death. I will follow best practice and do everything possible to ensure that your time is safe and incident free, however there is no guarantee. Although I will do everything possible to stay as close to the booked itinerary, I reserve the right to make changes to routes and activities according to weather conditions. I will provide a minimum kit list that is designed to keep you safe in the event of an incident.

Participants agree to the following:

• You understand that mountain activities, such as scrambling, running, hiking and mountaineering can involve the risk of personal injury and death.

• You agree to take responsibility for your own actions and listen to and observe safety briefing and instructions. This includes having, and carrying, the minimum equipment list whilst taking part in activities. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the course with no refund.

• David takes no responsibility for personal equipment and property whilst on the course.

• To share, in confidence, any medical conditions and injuries with David before the course.

• I hold a DBS certificate. However, courses are aimed at adults. Any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Personal information is treated confidentially. It is only held by myself, David Rogers, for the purpose of the safe delivery of courses only.

• Your information will not be passed to any third party, other than the emergency services if necessary. 

• I will communicate to you via email and may set up a WhatsApp group for communication aboutt he course only. If you do not wish for this to happen, please indicate when booking.

• I will only keep information in a secure electronic format until the conclusion of the course. Data is then deleted.

• I will take images and videos throughout courses for use on social media and markjetting. If you do not wish to be included in these, let me know when booking.
