a open source multiplayer voxel game made in Godot 4.3
developing an open-source multiplayer voxel game using Godot 4.3. This project aims to offer a unique experience by incorporating portals that connect to worlds or servers created by other players, all integrated into a single game ecosystem. Items will be transferred between these worlds through a custom backend system powered by TheGates. Additionally, the game will have a strong emphasis on combat, similar to Rust.
You will build empires and defend them from enemies, from other players to monsters
There will be weekly or monthly events that introduce new content in a new world/server, and permadeath will be enabled.

Balance problem?
We have talked about this problem a lot. Because if other players create worlds, what's stopping them from making something heavily overpowered and destroying the whole game's balance? So we are going to be adding a review system, you will upload your build, but it will be separated from the main game, it will be playable, but without the item transfer system and portals. Once they have been reviewed and accepted, they will be connected to the main game.
