Home Vault Privacy Policy
Home Vault Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 16, 2026
App Name: Home Vault
Developer: Rumble’s Realm
Contact: rumblesrealm@gmail.com
Home Vault is designed to help users store and share selected home information with trusted people, such as household members, guests, pet sitters, babysitters, house sitters, and short-term renters.
Home Vault is built with a privacy-first, local-first approach. The current version of Home Vault does not use a cloud database, does not include advertising, does not include analytics tracking, and does not sell user data.
Home Vault allows users to create vaults and save home-related information. This may include information such as:
WiFi names and passwords
Garage, gate, or access codes
Parking instructions
Spare key notes
House rules
Trash and recycling information
Pet care instructions
Babysitter or guest instructions
Emergency contacts
Check-in and checkout details
Other home access or household notes
This information is entered by the user voluntarily.
Home Vault stores vaults, items, PIN setup information, household setup information, and shared vault information locally on the user’s device.
The current version of Home Vault does not upload this information to a cloud server or remote database controlled by Rumble’s Realm.
Because the app is local-first, users are responsible for controlling access to their device and for deciding what information they choose to store or share.
Home Vault includes QR-based sharing features that allow a user to share selected vault information with another trusted person.
When a user chooses to share a vault, selected vault information may be transferred to another device through QR codes. This sharing is initiated by the user.
Users should only share vaults with people they trust. Anyone who receives access to a shared vault may be able to view the information included in that vault.
The current version of Home Vault uses snapshot-style sharing. If vault details change after sharing, the recipient may need the vault owner to reshare updated information.
Home Vault may request access to the device camera.
The camera is used only for scanning QR codes related to vault sharing, access requests, or approval flows.
Home Vault does not use the camera for advertising, analytics, facial recognition, or background monitoring.
Home Vault allows users to protect the app with a PIN.
If biometric unlock is used, authentication is handled by the device’s operating system. Home Vault does not collect, store, or transmit fingerprint data, face data, or biometric identifiers.
Home Vault may use screenshot and screen-recording protection on sensitive item detail screens to reduce the risk of accidental exposure.
This feature is intended to provide an additional privacy safeguard. It cannot prevent someone from viewing information on the screen or taking a photo of the screen with another device.
The current version of Home Vault does not include:
Third-party analytics SDKs
Advertising SDKs
Behavioral tracking
Sale of user data
Cloud-based user profiling
Google Play may provide developers with general app performance information, such as installs, crashes, and store listing performance, through Google Play Console. This information is provided by Google as part of app distribution and is not collected by Home Vault inside the app.
Rumble’s Realm does not sell user data.
The current version of Home Vault does not share user-created vault contents with third-party advertisers, analytics companies, or external cloud databases.
User information may be shared only when:
The user intentionally shares a vault using the app’s QR sharing feature;
Disclosure is required by law;
It is necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
Because Home Vault stores data locally on the user’s device, vault data generally remains on the device until the user deletes it.
Users may delete individual items, vaults, or app data from their device. Users may also remove the app from their device to delete locally stored app data, subject to the device operating system’s behavior.
If a user shared vault information with another person, deleting the original vault from the owner’s device may not automatically delete copies that were already shared to another device. Users should only share vaults with trusted people and should remove access where available.
Home Vault is intended for adults age 18 and older.
Children may use Home Vault only when approved and supervised by a parent, guardian, or household administrator. Children are not intended to act as household administrators.
Home Vault is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Home Vault is designed to reduce unnecessary data exposure by storing information locally and limiting sharing to user-initiated QR flows.
However, no app, device, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid storing information they are not comfortable keeping on their device or sharing with trusted recipients.
Users are responsible for keeping their device, PIN, biometric unlock, and shared vault access secure.
Rumble’s Realm may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If Home Vault adds new features in the future, such as optional cloud backup, encrypted sync, analytics, subscriptions, or other services, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain those changes before or when they are introduced.
