Tea Jump is a single-level platformer designed for speedrunning, in which you gather tea ingredients while exploring the world and avoiding enemies, usually by jumping. Afterward, you get to drink the tea with your friends, and see your speedrunning time, or "tea time." It uses key input (WASD, arrows) so it's PC-only.
Tea Jump was inspired by classic 1980's pixel art and classic American Traditional tattooing. the concept stage included months of work before finazing a design. The game is realtively small, as it was made mostly as a nod to these styles and a way to test out the program Godot. Godot is now used as the primary program for Ruined Closet's upcoming videogames.
the game uses recolored dragon sprites originally purchased from Sanctum Pixel
