“Meeting Point” was taken in Sintra, near the parents house where the artist lived. As is recurrent in his practice, the artist’s personal experience becomes the pretext for exploring connections between the public and the private, the individual and the collective, the self and the Other.

The title suggests a story that is not there and remains unknown to the viewer. In a way, what really matters is what might be happening presently out of the frame, or what has taken place a moment ago, or what is about to take place after the instant captured in the image. What really matters is the mystery that is suggested but not revealed.
