Experiment: Real-Time Risk Assessment for Dangerous Driver Detection Using Computer Vision
A UF parking space was selected to experiment. Participants were asked to drive in different driving styles and speeds within the designated area. A wide-angle camera was installed at approx. 2' height to capture and record the video of incoming traffic. Using computer vision technology, driving patterns, weather, and time conditions are assessed, and the overall risk of each vehicle is computed.Â
