Short bio
Rui Kato was born in Japan. He received the bachelor's and master's degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in control and systems engineering in 2019 and in computer science in 2021, respectively. From 2021 to 2024, he was a JSPS research fellow, and he obtained the doctorate degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in computer science in 2024. From September 2024, he started a postdoc position at the LAGEPP, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and is working on incremental stabilization of nonlinear systems and regulation with Daniele Astolfi and Vincent Andrieu.
Research interests
My research interests include dynamical systems, stability, oscillations, and control. The main objective of my research is to develop mathematical frameworks for control of asymptotic behaviors. I am also interested in networked multi-agent systems in various scientific fields.
