The article, written by Maia Szalavitz, compares statistics of xanax abuse, includes the opinions of scholar Andrew McAuley, Dr. Scott Hadland and many more-even including personal experience telling the story of a nurse who is prescribed xanax for anxiety. The article paints a nice picture as to how serious the xanax addiction in America is and predicts a tough path of overcoming the problem in the future.
