हरिः ॐ
प्रमुञ्च धन्वनस्त्वमुभयोरार्त्न्योर्ज्याम् ।
याश्च ते हस्त इषवः परा ता भगवो वप ॥ ९॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 9 IAST form
hariḥ oṃ
pramuñca dhanvanastvamubhayorārtnyorjyām .
yāśca te hasta iṣavaḥ parā tā bhagavo vapa .. 9..
Meaning:-
Release the bowstring from both ends of your bow, And the arrows in your hand, O Lord, cast them away. This plea symbolizes a desire for peace and the removal of any potential harm or aggression. By asking Rudra to lay down his weapons, the devotee seeks his compassionate and peaceful side, hoping to be spared from any wrath and instead be blessed with his benevolence.
