य एतावन्तश्च भूयाꣳसश्च दिशो रुद्रा वितस्थिरे ।
तेषाꣳ सहस्रयोजनेऽव धन्वानि तन्मसि ॥ ६३॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 63 IAST form
ya etāvantaśca bhūyāgͫsaśca diśo rudrā vitasthire .
teṣāgͫ sahasrayojane'va dhanvāni tanmasi .. 63..
Meaning:-
This verse is a prayer to the Rudras who are expansive and powerful, residing in various directions ("diśo") and who have extended their presence ("vitasthire"). The devotee requests that the bows of these Rudras be placed far away, at a distance of a thousand yojanas. This plea emphasizes the desire for protection and peace, asking for Rudra to keep his weapons at a safe distance, ensuring that no harm comes from the vast and potent forces that surround them.
