येऽन्नेषु विविध्यन्ति पात्रेषु पिबतो जनान् ।
तेषाꣳ सहस्रयोजनेऽव धन्वानि तन्मसि ॥ ६२॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 62 IAST form
ye'nneṣu vividhyanti pātreṣu pibato janān .
teṣāgͫ sahasrayojane'va dhanvāni tanmasi .. 62..
Meaning:-
This verse is a prayer to the Rudras who strike people as they eat their food ("anneṣu vividhyanti") and drink from their vessels ("pātreṣu pibato janān"). The devotee humbly requests that the bows of these Rudras be placed far away, at a distance of a thousand yojanas. The prayer asks for protection from any harm or disturbance caused by these Rudras during everyday activities, seeking peace and safety from their potential destructive power.
