हरिः ॐ
ये तीर्थानि प्रचरन्ति सृकाहस्ता निषङ्गिणः ।
तेषाꣳ सहस्रयोजनेऽव धन्वानि तन्मसि ॥ ६१॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 61 IAST form
ye tīrthāni pracaranti sṛkāhastā niṣaṅgiṇaḥ .
teṣāgͫ sahasrayojane'va dhanvāni tanmasi .. 61..
Meaning:-
This verse is a prayer to the Rudras who roam the sacred places ("tīrthāni"), carrying weapons such as swords in their hands ("sṛkāhastā") and quivers of arrows ("niṣaṅgiṇaḥ"). The devotee humbly requests that the bows of these Rudras be placed far away, at a distance of a thousand yojanas. This plea seeks protection and peace, asking Rudra to keep his powerful and destructive forces at a safe distance, ensuring no harm comes to the devotee from these divine beings who travel through holy places.
