हरिः ॐ
ये भूतानामधिपतयो विशिखासः कपर्दिनः ।
तेषाꣳ सहस्रयोजनेऽव धन्वानि तन्मसि ॥ ५९॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 59 IAST form
ye bhūtānāmadhipatayo viśikhāsaḥ kapardinaḥ .
teṣāgͫ sahasrayojane'va dhanvāni tanmasi .. 59..
Meaning:-
This verse is a prayer to the Rudras, who are the lords and rulers of all beings (bhūtānām adhipatayo), described as "viśikhāsaḥ" (those without arrows) and "kapardinaḥ" (those with matted hair, referring to Lord Shiva's form). The devotee humbly requests that the bows of these Rudras be placed far away, at a distance of a thousand yojanas. This is a plea for protection, asking for peace and safety, and for Rudra's destructive potential to be kept at a distance, sparing the devotee from harm.
