सहस्राणि सहस्रशो बाह्वोस्तव हेतयः ।
तासामीशानो भगवः पराचीना मुखा कृधि ॥ ५३॥
Chapter 5, Mantra 53 IAST form
sahasrāṇi sahasraśo bāhvostava hetayaḥ .
tāsāmīśāno bhagavaḥ parācīnā mukhā kṛdhi .. 53..
Meaning:-
This verse is a prayer to Lord Rudra (Shiva), acknowledging the thousands upon thousands of weapons in his powerful arms. The devotee humbly asks Rudra, the Lord of these weapons, to turn their dangerous force away from them and direct them elsewhere. It is a plea for protection, requesting Rudra to turn his fierce face in the opposite direction, sparing the devotee from his wrath and destructive potential.
