This verse from the Sri Rudram in the Yajurveda is a prayer to Lord Rudra (Shiva), seeking his protection, strength, and well-being for all living beings. The devotee addresses Rudra as "Kapardine" (the one with matted hair) and "Kṣayadvīrāya" (the one who grants strength or who destroys enemies), offering their thoughts and prayers to him.
