Meaning:-
This verse from the Sri Rudram in the Yajurveda offers salutations to Lord Rudra (Shiva), acknowledging his presence and influence in various forms of nature and actions. The devotee salutes Rudra as present in the leaves and in the essence or sap within them, recognizing his subtle presence in even the smallest elements of the natural world. Rudra is also revered in those who rise up forcefully and in those who strike or attack, highlighting his connection to both the forces of nature and the power of action. Further salutations are offered to those who dig and those who break or crush, symbolizing Rudra's role in both creation and destruction. The verse then honors those who create arrows and those who fashion bows, recognizing Rudra’s association with weapons and warfare. Additionally, Rudra is saluted as present in the hearts of the gods and in those who are searching or seeking, as well as in those who destroy or diminish. Finally, the verse acknowledges Rudra’s presence in those who strike without fail, emphasizing his power and precision in action. Through these salutations, the verse encapsulates Rudra's all-encompassing nature, from the delicate presence in leaves to the powerful forces of action and destruction.
