namaḥ śaṅgave ca paśupataye ca
nama ugrāya ca bhīmāya ca
namo'grevadhāya ca dūrevadhāya ca
namo hantre ca hanīyase ca
namo vṛkṣebhyo harikeśebhyo namastārāya .. 40..
Meaning:-
In this verse, the devotee acknowledges Lord Rudra's many facets, from his role as a protector of creatures and a fierce warrior to his power as both a destroyer and a merciful force. The verse also pays homage to Rudra's connection with nature, particularly with trees and greenery, and his role as a savior. This highlights Rudra's omnipresence and his complex nature, encompassing both destruction and protection, fearsome power, and nurturing care.
