Meaning:-
This verse from the Sri Rudram in the Yajurveda continues to offer salutations to Lord Rudra (Shiva), acknowledging his various forms and attributes. The devotee reveres Rudra as the one who resides in the hidden places (bilmine) and as the protector (kavachine), emphasizing his role as both elusive and safeguarding. Salutations are given to him who bears armor (varmin) and who is adorned with divine ornamentation (varūthine), recognizing his protective and majestic aspects. The verse also honors Rudra as the one who is heard (śrutāya) and who commands respect through his divine power (śrutasenāya). Lastly, it pays reverence to him as the one who sounds the war-drum (dundubhyāya) and who is of a fiery nature (āhananyāya). This verse highlights Rudra’s multifaceted nature, encompassing his roles as protector, divine ornamented being, powerful entity, and his ability to evoke profound presence and energy.
