मर्माणि ते वर्मणा छादयामि सोमस्त्वा राजाऽमृतेनानुवस्ताम् ।
उरोर्वरीयो वरुणस्ते कृणोतु जयन्तं त्वानु देवा मदन्तु ॥ १७॥
Chapter 3, Mantra 17 IAST form
hariḥ oṃ
marmāṇi te varmaṇā chādayāmi somastvā rājā'mṛtenānuvastām .
urorvarīyo varuṇaste kṛṇotu jayantaṃ tvānu devā madantu .. 17..
Meaning:-
I cover your vital parts with armor, may Soma (the deity associated with the sacred ritual drink, often connected with vitality and immortality) the king extend you with immortality. May Varuṇa (the deity associated with cosmic order, law, and water) make you spacious and the gods support you in victory and rejoice in you.
