About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). Since July 2022, I have been conducting my research at the Water Resources and Remote Sensing Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Tajdarul Hassan Syed. My current research focuses on obtaining high-resolution river discharge estimates using satellite-derived parameters. 

Before my doctoral studies, I successfully completed a five-year BS-MS dual degree program at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata (IISER Kolkata). During my tenure at IISER Kolkata, I specialized in Geological Sciences with a minor in Chemical Sciences. My MS thesis was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mandal, who leads the Earth Surface Dynamics group at IISER Kolkata.
