Ultra High Temperature Ceramic (UHTC) composites : Processing and characterization
I worked on Zirconium di-boride (ZrB2) and Hafnium di-boride and (HfB2) ceramics. Main focus of my research include: Spark plasma sintering of these ceramics, Effect of Silicon Carbide (SiC) on the processing and properties like mechanical, tribological and oxidation properties of ZrB2, and solid solutioning of ZrB2 and HfB2.
