Born and raised in Laredo, TX, I moved to Corpus Christi seven years ago to study electrical engineering in Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. After completing my degree, I was exposed to the vast integrations and advancing technologies involved in microcontroller programming and decided to pursue graduate studies in computer science with a concentration in programming and software.
Through my graduate studies, I have developed a passion for Green IoT, or more specifically developing synchronization strategies and power management techniques for energy harvesting remote sensing. Towards the end of my graduate studies, my graduate mentor offered the CREST fellowship that is currently supporting me through my doctoral studies.
I'm currently a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. I continue research developments in CORAL (Collaborative Robots and Agents Lab) under my committee chair and longtime mentor Dr. Jose Baca.Â
