Week of January 6th - Floatfest PCC Shuttle
The Floatfest PCC Shuttle is a shuttle route that runs from Pasadena City College to Floatfest. The PCC Shuttle is one of the more popular shuttle services for Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase (formerly Post Parade until 2022), and is best known for the highest ridership and more frequent services. Wait times are also expected to be longer. This route is operated by Transit Systems & LA Charter Bus Lines.

Week of January 20th - Floatfest Foothill/CEC Shuttle
The Floatfest CEC Shuttle is a shuttle route that runs from the PCC Extension / Foothill Community Education Center to Floatfest via Sierra Madre Villa. The CEC Shuttle was one of the Park & Ride Shuttles for Floatfest until 2016, which was discontinued. The CEC later made a comeback in January 2024, being the shortest shuttle route in the Floatfest Shuttle Service. The route was previously operated by Transit Systems Unlimited prior to 2016, and it is now operated by LA Charter Bus Lines since 2024.

FUN FACT: The CEC Shuttle Stop at Foothill Blvd & Maple St in Pasadena is a 10-minute walk from the Sierra Madre Villa A Line Station, and the CEC Shuttle is a connection made possible using Metro Bus Line 487, Pasadena Transit Line 31, and Foothill Transit Line 187.
Week of January 27th - Metro Local Line 158
The 158 is a route that runs from Chatsworth to Sherman Oaks via Devonshire & Woodman. The 158 used to interline with the 245 at Valley Circle Blvd from June 1988 to June 1992, and again on weekends from June 2003 to June 2004. The western terminus was relocated to Chatsworth Station in June 2003 for weekend operations (later further shortened weekdays in December 2006). The eastern terminus was located at Ventura Canyon Ave & Ventura Blvd until June 2006, when it was then extended to its current layover zone at Moorpark & Van Nuys. Not much has changed until June 2024, when a new branch line was implemented from Sherman Oaks to Arleta.

Week of February 3rd - Floatfest Circulator Shuttle
The Circulator Shuttle is a shuttle route that loops around the Eaton Wash, and serving the three gates into Floatfest. The Circulator Shuttle operates via a counterclockwise loop via Altadena Dr, Sierra Madre Blvd & New York Dr, and runs every 20 minutes. Some nearby areas along the route includes the Floatfest Transit Center via the Green Gate, McDonald's, 7-Eleven & nearby transit connections via the Blue Gate, and Victory Park via the Red Gate. The shuttle service is operated by Transit Systems Unlimited.

Week of February 10th - Metro Local Line 37
The 37 is a route that runs from Downtown LA to Washington / Fairfax via Adams. The 37 is one of a few routes that interline with another route. The 37 interlines with the 14 in two different locations. Westbound trips begins at 1st & Beaudry and originate as the 14, while eastbound trips terminate at Hill & Adams, and then continue as the 14 to Beverly Center.
Shown here is 5730 arriving at 1st St & Beaudry Ave, finishing its eastbound trip as the 14, and then continuing as the 37 to Washington / Fairfax Transit Hub. The bus stop sign on the southwest corner still identifies itself as the 14 to Downtown LA, but the following stop at 1st & Hope is signed as the 37 to Washington / Fairfax.
Week of February 17th - Metro Local Line 603
The 603 is a route that runs from Glendale to Grand/LATTC via San Fernando, Allesandro, Rampart & Hoover. The 603 began service in February 1998, and primarily connecting passengers between Glendale & the Blue Line. The route was realigned from Fletcher to Allesandro in June 2003, as a result of the 93 being discontinued. Several route changes (mainly in Westlake) have occurred throughout the years. This is one of several routes originally operated by TransDev before being transferred to MV Transportation in June 2024, as the TransDev contract expired.
Shown here is 5775 on the 603 arriving at Glendale Blvd. & Berkeley Ave on September 15th, 2024. This route mainly consists of the former New Flyer XN40's previously operated by TransDev, as well as a few NABI 31-LFW's that also operated out of TransDev. As a result of the transfer of operations, ENC Axess BRT's have started appearing on this route.
Week of February 24th - AVTA Line 790
The 790 is a commuter route that runs from Palmdale to Newhall via Hwy 14. The 790 serves as a feeder to the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line, specifically for those ending at Vista Canyon. This commuter route operates two round-trips on weekdays, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. The route used to end at College of the Canyons before being truncated in 2022. The 790 is known as the "TRANSporter."

This unit in particular is a 2021 MCI D45 CRT LE CHARGE. These units were previously pulled out from service due to battery fires. These have since went back in service around Fall 2024.
Week of March 3rd - Metro Local Line 154
The 154 is a route that runs from Burbank to Sepulveda G Line via Burbank & Oxnard. The 154 used to operate from Burbank to Porter Ranch via Oxnard & Tampa. The segment on Tampa was discontinued in June 2005 and replaced by the 242. It used to have weekend service until June 1986, when Sunday service was discontinued, and then June 2007, when Saturday service was discontinued. The 154 was then shortened to Sepulveda G Line Station in June 2021, later realigned via Burbank Blvd east of Lankershim in September 2021, along with the resumption of weekend service.

Week of March 10th - Big Blue Bus Line 44
The 44 is a route that runs from 17th St / SMC E Line Station to SMC Bundy Campus via 14th St & Ocean Park Blvd. The 44 was formerly known as the Sunset Ride, and then the SMC Connector. The route is more frequent Monday thru Thursday, and then it is reduced on Fridays. Riders can connect with the Metro E Line at 17th St / SMC Station heading to Downtown Santa Monica or East LA.

Week of March 17th - Metro Local Line 28
The 28 is a route that runs from Downtown LA to Century City via Olympic. The 28 used to operate between those two aforementioned locations prior to June 2014, and had a branch line, 27, and a limited, 328 (later 728). In June 2014, the 28 was extended to Eagle Rock via Eagle Rock Blvd to replace the 84, and later shortened back to Downtown LA in June 2021.

Week of March 24th - Pasadena Transit Routes 31 & 32
The 31 & 32 are bus routes that run from North Fair Oaks to Sierra Madre Villa Station via Washington Blvd. The 31 is the core route that runs via Altadena Dr & Foothill Blvd, and the 32 is a branch route that runs via New York Dr & Sierra Madre Villa Ave. Those two routes, combined together would operate every 30-35 minutes, with the 32 being the least frequent route, usually in 100-110 minute headways. With the introduction of the 33, the entire segment on Washington Blvd is now every 15-20 minutes.

Week of April 7th - Metro Local Line 244
The 244 is a route that runs from Chatsworth to Woodland Hills via De Soto. The 244 was introduced in June 2005 to replace the 243 on De Soto. The 244 used to interline with the 245 in Woodland Hills until June 2021, when the 244 became a separate line, and the 245 was replaced by the 150. Not many changes have occurred over the years. The route never had Sunday & Holiday Service until June 2021, which introduced Sunday Service on the 244.

Week of April 14th - Metro Local Line 150
The 150 is a route that runs from Encino to Chatsworth via Ventura & Topanga Canyon. The 150 used to run from Woodland Hills to Hollywood until September 1986, when it was discontinued and replaced by the 424. The 150 later came back in June 2000, following the extension of the Red Line to North Hollywood, and ran from Canoga Park to Universal City. In June 2021, the 150 made major changes, where the eastern part was shortened to Encino, while the western part was extended to Chatsworth Station to replace the 245. The 150 used to be part of the 24-hour owl service until June 2024, when owl service was discontinued.

Week of April 21st - OmniTrans Line 290
The 290 is a route that runs from Montclair to San Bernardino via I-10. The 290 is one of the two Freeway Express routes operated by OmniTrans. The route was introduced in September 2015, providing service along Interstate 10 for the first time in over 7 years since the 90 was restructured in May 2007, later renumbered as the 215 in September 2007. The route was previously suspended from January 2022 to January 2025, due to driver shortages.

Week of April 28th - LADOT DASH Highland Park / Eagle Rock
The DASH Highland Rock / Eagle Rock is a route that runs from San Pascual Park to Eagle Rock Plaza via San Pascual, Avenue 54 & Townsend. The DASH Highland Park / Eagle Rock is better known for a hidden secret in Eagle Rock. Heading southbound on Townsend past Oak Grove Drive, there is an actual bus lane, as buses slow down while heading uphill on Townsend (was recently added in Fall 2024). As for the route itself, it is one of the major routes in the LADOT DASH System, running every 20 minutes, and serving Eagle Rock Plaza, Franklin High School, the Highland Park A Line Station, and San Pascual Park.

Week of May 5th - Metro Local Line 268
The 268 is a route that runs from Sierra Madre Villa Station to El Monte via Baldwin. The 268 used to operate from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to El Monte Station via Washington & Baldwin. In June 2021, the 268 was shortened to Sierra Madre Villa Station, and realigned service to operate straight on Foothill to Baldwin, no longer providing Metro Bus service in Sierra Madre. In June 2024, service into Sierra Madre was restored under a new routing, operating via Sierra Madre between Baldwin & Sierra Madre Villa (instead of between Baldwin & Michillinda).

The school trippers were since removed in June 2020, due to COVID-19, and the featured bus has since been repainted from Metro Rapid to Metro Local.
Week of May 12th - Metro Local Line 266
The 266 is a route that runs from Sierra Madre Villa A Line Station to Lakewood via Rosemead & Lakewood. The 266 used to operate as far south as Cal State Long Beach until the Mid-90's, when it was shortened to Lakewood. Not many changes occurred since then, including the northern terminus being relocated from Hastings Ranch to SMV Station in June 2003. The 266 is operated under contract by Southland Transit.

Week of May 27th - LA Marathon Express Shuttles
The LA Marathon Express Shuttles are a series of shuttle routes that run from Century City, Downtown LA & Union Station to Dodger Stadium, as well as a route from Century City to Downtown LA. During the early morning hours, three shuttle routes will operate from Century City, Downtown LA or Union Station to Dodger Stadium, and during the afternoon, a shuttle route will operate from Century City to Downtown LA, but no return service to Union Station or Dodger Stadium. All services are free of charge to all LA Marathon participants with wristband.

Week of June 9th - Metro Local Line 66
The 66 is a route that runs from Montebello to Wilshire / Western via Olympic & 8th. The 66 used to operate from Western & 8th to Olympic & Garfield, and had a branch line and limited route, the 67 & 366. The 67 was basically the same as the 66, but used Olympic in its entirety instead of deviating on 8th in Boyle Heights, and the 366 was the limited service for the 66. The 67 was discontinued in August 1998, while the 366 ran from June 2003 to June 2010. Beginning on June 22nd, 2025, the 66 will be realigned to operate via Olympic in its entirety, as the 8th St portion will be replaced by the 62. This realignment will feel more like what the 67 did back then.

Week of June 16th - Hollywood Bowl Shuttle Line 655
The 655 is a route that runs from Pasadena to the Hollywood Bowl via the 134 Freeway. The 655 is one of the most popular shuttle routes for the Hollywood Bowl Season, and one of at least two routes that operate through the 134 Freeway, the other being the 663. The route is operated by Transit Systems Unlimited. The 655 hasn't had any parking lot changes, but does connect with a few bus routes from Pasadena Transit, which includes the 20, 33, 40, as well as nearby connections on the 51, 52 & 53, and the Metro A Line.

Week of June 23rd - Altadena Beach Bus
The Altadena Beach Bus is a route that runs from Altadena to Santa Monica. The route operates during the summer months, and currently serves the intersection of Allen @ Oakwood, as well as the Bob Lucas Library on Lincoln @ Ventura. The route used to serve Loma Alta Park & Altadena Senior Center until the 2025 season, in which the two stops were discontinued, due to the Eaton Fire, and the route now originates at Allen @ Oakwood instead of Lincoln @ Ventura.

Week of June 30th - LAX City Bus Center Shuttle
The City Bus Center Shuttle was a route that ran from the LAX City Bus Center to LAX Terminals. The route was introduced in Spring 2024, as a result of the 35-foot NABI's now retired and using Employee Shuttles operated by LA Charter Bus Lines under contract by ABM on the Lot South Route. This route replaced the Lot South Route, specifically at the City Bus Center, while Lot South no longer stopped at the transit center. The City Bus Center Shuttle operated using cutaways, though depending on the time of day, a conventional bus would operate, specifically 30-foot buses. The route was discontinued on June 6th, 2025, as a result of the opening of the new LAX / Metro Transit Center.

Week of July 7th - La Crescenta / La Canada Flintridge Beach Bus
The La Crescenta / La Canada Flintridge Beach Bus is a route that runs from La Crescenta to Santa Monica. The route begins at Two Strike Park, before making three stops at the La Crescenta Library, Montrose @ Ocean View, and the La Canada Flintridge Memorial Park, and then operate non-stop to Santa Monica. The route operates on Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. It is notable for passing through the Glendale City Limits, closest to the border with La Crescenta-Montrose.

Week of July 14th - Metro Local Line 207
The 207 is a route that runs from Hollywood to Crenshaw C Line Station via Western. The 207 used to operate to the Imperial / Wilmington Station, replacing a portion of the 254 on 120th St from the Mid-90's to December 2003, which shortened to Harbor Freeway Station, then back to Southwest College in June 2005. The 207 had a limited route, the 357, which later became the 757 in December 2005. The 207 was extended to Crenshaw Station in June 2011, but only for weekend trips until June 2021, which later expanded to weekdays as a result of the discontinuation of the 757.

Week of July 28th - Long Beach Transit Route 61
The 61 is a route that runs from Artesia A Line Station to Downtown Long Beach via Atlantic. The 61 serves the southern part of Atlantic, and a continuation of Metro Bus Line 261. The 61 was originally numbered as the 6, but has since been renumbered into three different routes, the 61, 62 & 66. The 62 & 66 ZAP have since been discontinued.
Shown here is 1201 on the 61 ready to head south to Downtown Long Beach at Artesia Station on July 26th, 2025. This bus in particular is one of the first CNG powered Gillig buses ever built, and the first Gillig bus with BRT Plus styling.
Week of August 4th - Metro Local Line 665
The 665 is a route that runs from Rose Hill to East LA via Eastern & Indiana. The 665 was originally the 65, and ran from Cal State LA to Downtown LA until June 2007, which was shortened to Boyle Heights and renumbered as the 665. The 665 was later shortened to Indiana & Olympic in December 2020, due to low ridership as a result of COVID-19, and later extended to Rose Hill in June 2023 to replace a segment of the 256 (now Pasadena Transit 33).

Week of August 11th - Metro Local Line 45
The 45 is a route that runs from Lincoln Heights to Harbor Freeway C Line Station via Broadway. The 45 originally ran from Montecito Heights to Rosewood, with owl service to Carson, and had a branch line & limited route, the 46 & 345. The 46 ran along Griffin, ending near Heritage Square, and the 345 was the limited service for the 45, which later became the 745 from December 2002 to December 2020. In December 2007, the 46 was discontinued, and the 45 was shortened to Lincoln Heights, with their remaining portions replaced by the 252. Owl service into Carson was discontinued in June 2018, and later further shortened to Harbor Freeway Station in June 2021.

Week of August 18th - OCbus Route 862
The 862 is a route that runs from Downtown Santa Ana to Santa Ana Depot via Civic Center Dr. The 862 was formerly the 462, and only ran during rush hour. In October 2019, the 462 was renumbered as the 862, and was expanded to operate 7 days a week, and more frequent service every 10 to 15 minutes weekdays, and 20 minutes weekends & holidays. The 862 is proposed to be discontinued in Spring 2026, and will be replaced by the OC Streetcar, as well as portions of the 83.

Week of August 25th - PVPTA Line 225
The 225 is a route that runs from Redondo Beach to San Pedro via Palos Verdes Drive North, Highridge, & Palos Verdes Drive East. The 225 is a former Metro Local route that originally ran as far north as LAX City Bus Center, and ran Monday through Saturday until December 2003, when the 225 was reduced to rush hours only, and began interlining with the 226. The 225 & 226 were later transferred to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority in June 2006.
Shown here is 1053 on the 225 ready to depart for Redondo Beach at 7th St & Pacific Ave on August 22nd, 2025. This bus in particular is unique, as PVPTA is known to operate school buses modified for use in public transportation. These school buses would normally operate on the Green Route.

Week of September 8th - LADOT Commuter Express Line 534
The 534 is a route that runs from Union Station to Westwood via Olympic. The 534 is known to be the Rapid Express variant for the 28, and previously alongside the 728. The route is peak direction only, heading to Westwood in the AM, and back to Union Station in the PM, and the reverse commute route for the 431. The 534 makes stops in Downtown LA, then make three stops along Olympic at Western, Beverwil & Century Park East, and also make stops in Century City & Westwood. Service runs every 20 to 30 minutes.

Week of September 15th - Metro Local Line 611
The 611 is a loop route that runs via Santa Ana, Compton, District & Wilcox, with the route beginning and ending in Cudahy. The 611 was introduced in June 2003 as a new shuttle route for Huntington Park & Vernon, and replaced the 105 on District & Wilcox, and 107 on Santa Ana. Since then, not many route changes occurred over the years.
