Initiative of Ruban Youths for Development (RUBAN YOUTHS) is a non-governmental organization founded in Nigeria in the year 2021 with RC: 166456. 

Statement of Necessity: According to World Bank's Nigeria's poverty assessment report 2022, as many as 4 in 10 Nigerians live below the national poverty line. Many Nigerians especially youths, children, and women lack access to education, equal rights and opportunities, basic social amenities such as electricity, safe drinking water, improved sanitation, health care, etc. The report further notes that jobs do not translate Nigeria's hard work into an exit from poverty, as most workers are engaged in small-scale household farming and non-farming enterprises; just 17 percent of Nigerian workers hold the wages jobs best able to lift people out of poverty; yet government support for households is scant. Households have adopted dangerous coping strategies including reducing education and scaling back food consumption which could have negative long-run consequences for their human capital. This has necessitated us to come up with this initiative to lift millions of Nigerians out of poverty.

As an organization, we are committed  to youth development, promoting the enhancement of democracy in Nigeria, improving the living standard of the youths, children, and women through poverty alleviation, education, skill acquisition training, leadership training, empowerment, and community development for the betterment of the society.

Our Vision: To end poverty and restore hope/ brighter future to the youths, children, and women with equal access to opportunities and development in the society.

Our Mission: To alleviate poverty and bring development close to the less privileged and underserved people in the society.

Our Goal: To eradicate poverty and make the society a better place for all.
