Q. What is the method of Admission in PG Programme of the University of Rajasthan?

Ans. Admission to all the PG Departments of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur shall be made on the basis of Entrance Test and Academic Merit of the qualifying Examination i.e.

Entrance Test : 100 Marks (70% Weightage)

Academic : 30% Weightage

Q. In how many subjects a candidate is eligible for the test?

Ans. Candidate can apply for appearing in the Entrance Test for the Maximum of 3 (Three) test subjects in a single form.

Q. What are the relevant dates of online application for URATPG-2019 ?

Ans. The relevant dates of submitting online applications for URATPG-2019 are as follows :

Phase - I

IMPORTANT DATES

• Online Application Form : 1 June 2019 to 10 June 2019
• Last Date of Online Application : 10 June 2019 (No need to deposit hard copy)
• Admit Card Generation : 11 June 2019 (5.00 P.M. Onwards)
• Dates of Examination : 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 22 June 2019 (Subject-wise time table will be declared on 13th June, 2019)
• Display of Answer Key on University Website : 23 June 2019
• Last date of submission of Grievances (to be submitted in the URATPG-2019 office : P.G. School of Commerce, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur) : 25 June 2019 (till 4.30 P.M.) [Grievance will not be entertained after 25 June 2019 (4.30 P.M.) in any condition]
• Display of Revised Answer Key on University Website (if required ) : 28 June 2019
• Result Declaration : 30 June 2019
• Phase‐II will be started : 1 July 2019

Q. Whether hard copy of the online generated form is required to be deposited?

Ans. No, the applicants are NOT required to deposit the hard copy of the online application form. However, they may keep the hard copy of the online application for their own reference.

Q. Where should I deposit fee for the Entrance Test and what is the amount to be paid?

Ans. The requisite fee for the Entrance Test will be deposited Online through ICICI Bank payment gateway. The requisite fee structure is as mentioned below:

Fee structure for URATPG-2019:

1. Opting for one subject ₹ 700 (for General and others) and ₹ 550 (for SC/ST)
2. Opting for two subjects ₹ 900 (for General and others) and ₹ 700 (for SC/ST)
3. Opting for three subjects ₹ 1100(for General and others) and ₹ 900 (for SC/ST)

Q. What will be the nature & number of questions in the examination?

Ans. The entrance test shall have 100 objective type questions carrying one mark each 100 questions of the concerned subject/programme within the notified syllabus (available on the website of the University for all under graduate subjects/programme)

Q. What is the duration of the Entrance Test?

Ans. The duration for each paper shall be of 2 hours (i.e. One Hundred Twenty minutes).

Q. Is there any negative marking in the Examination?

Ans. There is NO negative marking.

Q. How to get information about my Centre, date of entrance test examination and time schedule?

Ans. The candidates are required to refer the University website for the Centre of particular subject, date of examination and time schedule.

Q. Whether any sample paper is available for the examination?

Ans. Yes, the sample question papers of the past year URATPG Examinations are available on the University website www.uniraj.ac.in

Q. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for admission?

Ans. Only appearance in University of Rajasthan Entrance Test (URATPG) will NOT ensure admission to a programme of study in the University. Each candidate shall ensure that he/she fulfils the Eligibility Criteria and that the particulars furnished in the Admission Form are complete and correct in all respects. For the eligibility in a particular Department, the candidates are required to refer for the University Prospectus. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or has furnished incorrect information or suppressed any material information, his/her candidature will be cancelled and if already admitted, shall be liable to be forfeited the benefits accrued thereon, from besides rustication from the University.

Q. How would I get my Admission Card?

Ans. After depositing of the requisite Entrance Test fee online through ICICI bank payment gateway, the candidate will be redirected to fill the requisite information asked through online form. After completion of this form, the Centre for Entrance Test (URATPG-2018) and Roll number will be allocated on admission card which can be downloaded from University website w.e.f. 11 June 2019. The candidate will be required to fix a self attested recent photograph and will have to produce valid ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID and Driving License in the examination hall.

Q. Can I carry the question booklet with me after completion of the examination?

Ans. After completion of Entrance test, the Candidates can carry Question Booklet with them.

Q. What are the dates of URATPG-2019 Examinations ?

Ans. Entrance Test URATPG-2019 for all the subjects will be held from 14 June 2019 to 22 June 2019.

Q. What is the expected date of result of URATPG-2019?

Ans. The declaration of final results of URATPG-2019 will be made on 30 June 2019.

Q. Whether the application form generated for URATPG-2018 is sufficient for admission to PG Programme?

Ans. No, After declaration of URATPG-2019 Entrance Test result, the candidate shall be required to generate Admission Form for Test Subject related Programmes from the University Website www.uniraj.ac.in.

Q. What is the Syllabus of URATPG-2019 Entrance Exam?

Ans. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (numbering 1 to 100) related to the Entrance Test Subject. The Syllabus of each Test Subject comprises of the composite syllabus of the Undergraduate Programme of that particular Subject which is running in the Undergraduate Programme of Part I, Part II and Part III in the University of Rajasthan.
