About Us

Established in 2008, Reichman University Model United Nations (RU MUN), previously known as (IDC MUN), is the first higher-education MUN society in Israel. 

RU MUN is proud to bring together students from different cultural, ethnic, and religious background as they mix between the Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS) and the Hebrew tracks. There are people from over 90 countries that go to school at Reichman University, and create the diverse atmosphere felt on campus. 

Model United Nations aims at simulating real UN committees, in which we find realistic solutions for the pressing issues of today.  

RU MUN allows students to actively pursue and develop their passions for rhetoric, politics, negotiation, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution, while enabling a free-space to socialize and build lasting connections.
