Eviction hearing focus on lease contract breaches and are not extended forums for personal explanations.
Residents can be turned away from court if they are not dressed appropriately. (revealing shirts/dresses, profanity on clothes, ripped pants)
Residents can request virtual court at Precincts 1 and 4
Requests for interpreters should be done before court date
Relocation Assistance Information Resident Relocation Assistance Program - City of San Antonio
Residents approved for City of San Antonio Relocation Assistance will receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) valid for 60 days.
If a resident is unable to secure housing within the 60-day timeframe, they may request a one-time 30-day extension BEFORE the LOI expires.
Residents should present their Letter of Intent to prospective landlords to confirm the landlord is willing to accept City funding.
Relocation assistance currently has a limit of up to $3,000 for eligible households.
Residents may receive assistance from either the Rental Assistance Program OR the Relocation Assistance Program once within a 12-month period.
The total lifetime cap for financial assistance is 18 months. Once a household has received 18 months of assistance, they will no longer qualify for either program.
Rental Assistance Information Rental Assistance Program - City of San Antonio
The portal opens to accept rental applications on the second Wednesday of the month from 1pm - 2pm.
Rental assistance currently has a limit of up to 3 months or $3,000 for eligible households. *$3,500 for households with a person with a disability
Residents may receive assistance from either the Rental Assistance Program OR the Relocation Assistance Program once within a 12-month period.

Residents must:
Have a Notice to Vacate or Eviction Notice
Reside in Unincorporated Bexar County (District 0)
Have rent below Fair Market Rent (FMR)
Be at or below 80% AMI
To apply, residents should contact the Guadalupe Community Center at 210-226-6178 and request rental assistance screening.
