For over 30 years, AHMP has been, and remains, the leading organization for the hazardous materials management profession. The resources it provides to its members support their efforts to create a future where the Earth is unburdened by pollution, everyone has a healthy and safe work environment, and hazardous materials are used and transported safely and efficiently.

To achieve its mission, AHMP will work with its chapters, the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) and other professional organizations to link industry, government and academia, establishing its vision for the future.

The RTP AHMP organization is governed by EHS professionals from some of the world's leading biotech and pharma companies found right here in the Triangle.  Our group welcomes members from all industry types and encourages interested professionals and students to join and actively participate in RTP chapter activities.  Feel free to contact us with any EHS or membership questions.  The AHMP is staged to provide excellent knowledge and value to other talented professionals interested in furthering their careers.

We need your help!  The RTP AHMP chapter is looking for volunteers to serve as officers for this chapter for the 2024 year!  We have multiple positions open including secretary, treasurer, VP, and board members.  If interested, please email rtpahmp@gmail.com or david.auge@grifols.com or swawzyniecki@ei1.com for more details.  You must be a CHMM to serve, but not to attend and participate in our meetings.  Holding a position is also a great way to earn certification points!
