Dr. Vijay Sood obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Bradford, England. From 1976-2007, he was employed as a Senior Researcher at IREQ (Research Institute of Hydro-Québec) in Montreal. Since 2007, he is an Associate Professor at Ontario Tech University, Oshawa, Canada. His research interests are in the monitoring, control and protection of HVDC and FACTS power systems and microgrid operation and control. He has published widely on HVDC and FACTS transmission systems. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, a Life Fellow of the IEEE, Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada and Emeritus Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineers.
Dr. Premalata Jena is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. She received her B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2001, the M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2006, and the PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2011. She has seven years teaching experience. She is IEEE member and INAE, Young Associate. She received many awards such as Women Excellence Award and Early Career Research Award, SERB, DST, Gov. of India, New Delhi, INAE Young Engineer Award, POSOCO Power System Award, in 2013. She has published many papers in different reputed journals and conferences. Her fields of interest are Smart Grid, Smart grid technology and protection, Microgrid, Microgrid Protection, Signal processing application to power system relaying, Power system Protection, Protection Issues with FACTS Devices, Protection Scheme Development for a line with FACTS devices, Disturbance localization, Signal processing application for disturbance localization.
Dr. Paresh K. Nayak received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2014. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India. His current research interest is power system relaying.
Dr. Manoj Tripathy received his BE degree in electrical engineering from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India, in 1999, the M.Tech degree in instrumentation and control from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 2002, and the PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2008. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. His fields of interest are wavelets, neural network, optimization techniques, content-based image retrieval, digital instrumentation, digital protective relays and digital speech processing. Dr Tripathy is a reviewer for various international journals in the area of power systems and speech.

Dr. Krishna Murari received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from WBUT, India, in 2010, and the M.E degree in power systems from Thapar University, India, in 2014. He completed his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2019. In January 2020, he joined University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA where he is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow on the project ‘(ReDis-PV)’ funded by DOE. Interests: AC-DC load flow, distribution network pricing, and smart grid.
Dr. Himanshu Misra received the B. Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2009, and the M. Tech. degree in power electronics and drives from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur, India, in 2011. Dr. Misra obtained the Ph.D. degree in 2018 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Delhi, India. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of computing and electrical engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India. Dr. Arvind R. Singh received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Walchand College of Engineering, Government Autonomous Institute, Sangli, India, in 2009, the M.Tech. degree in electrical power system from the College of Engineering, Government Autonomous Institute, Pune, India, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India, in 2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Shandong University, Jinan, China. His area of research includes power system protection, power system compensation, smart grid, microgrid and renewable energy generation, optimization & integration, and soft computing applications.
Dr. Shailendra Kumar was born in Mahoba, India, in 1988. He received B.Tech. in electrical engineering from GBTU, Lucknow, India, in 2010, and the M.Tech. in power electronics, electrical machine and drives from the IIT, Delhi, India, in 2015. He has completed his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from IIT, Delhi, India on 16 May, 2019. Currently, He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, MA NIT Bhopal. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Khalifa University (Petroleum Institute). His research interests include power quality, grid integration, custom power devices, microgrid and renewable energy. Dr. Kumar is recipient of POSOCO award (in Master as well as in Doctoral ) in 2016 and 2019. He is also a recipient of Prof. Som Nath Mahendra Student Travel Awards for PEDES 2018 and the IEEE UPCON Best paper Award in 2016 and 2018.
Dr. N. K. Singh received the PhD degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Techology, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India in 2016. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Techology, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. His research interests include Power System Operation and Planning, Artificial Intelligence Applications in Power System.
Dr. Anshul Agarwal graduated from the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India with B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007 and completed his M.Tech. degree (Gold Medalist) in Power Electronics and ASIC Design in July 2009 & Ph.D. in 2013 at MNNIT, Allahabad. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department at NIT Delhi. His research interests include power electronic devices, converters, inverters and AC to AC converter.
Dr Subho Upadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Renewable Energy, Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Dayalbagh, AGRA , UP, India. Dr. Umesh K. Sinha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur, India. He obtained the B. Sc. (Engg.) degree from MIT Muzaffarpur, M. Sc. (Engg.) degree from RIT Jamshedpur and the Ph.D. degree from Ranchi University in 2010. His research interests include Solar and renewable energy systems, Modeling of salt gradient solar pond of various types, Modeling and simulation of collectors, Modeling and simulation of hybrid vehicles, and Development of model for zero energy building. Dr. Sinha has supervised many Ph.D and M.Tech scholars and published many journal and conference papers.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India.
