We bring together faculty members from all UWI campuses, industry professionals, and government representatives to address real-world challenges in Caribbean entrepreneurship and explore innovative solutions for entrepreneurial development.
VISION STATEMENT
To be the Caribbean's leading research organization in entrepreneurship, globally recognized for driving and delivering impactful research that informs policy and enhances sectoral, national and regional resilience.
Mission Statement
The Resilience through Entrepreneurship Research Cluster (RTE) is dedicated to building a body of Caribbean research to support and strengthen Caribbean socioeconomic and environmental development and the development of the social economy across the Caribbean. Through strategic partnerships, multi-island collaborative research, and rigorous and empirical investigation, RTE addresses critical research gaps, generating actionable insights and sustainable, actionable capacity-building initiatives that support economies and empower communities, promote and develop diverse forms of entrepreneurship that support nascent and established entrepreneurs in the business and social sectors and generate policy recommendations that influence national laws and policies in support of the development of a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient Caribbean entrepreneurial ecosystem.
