COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

We want everyone to be aware, the SARS-CoV-2 B.1.617.2 (COVID 19, Delta variant) has been identified and is currently spreading in metro Atlanta and throughout the state of Georgia. The Delta variant causes more infections and spreads faster than earlier forms of the COVID-19 virus. Other variants currently in the United States that have been identified are B.1.1.7 (Alpha), B.1.351 (Beta), and P.1 (Gamma). The currently authorized vaccines do work against these variants. For more information, visit the Center for Disease Control's "When You've Been Fully Vaccinated" website.

All RTB Massage employees are completely vaccinated and will receive the booster shot once available.

For the safety of everyone, especially our immuno-compromised friends and family, we ask for all visitors to be fully vaccinated. Please bring your vaccination card (or a copy) for verification of completion (Moderna & Pfizer are 2 shots, Johnson & Johnson is 1 shot). At this time, a booster shot will not be necessary.

SERVICES

I use many types of manual manipulation to achieve results, but really it comes down to two systems: Massage and Manual Therapy

Massage is what we all think of when someone says the word... It is the Spa and relaxation thing to do, Using long sweeping motions and smooth gliding strokes, a massage therapist relaxes the muscles and nerves of the client. This is good self-care for healthy people and uninjured workout enthusiasts. Please note there are no additional facilities available such as a shower or sauna.

Manual Therapy starts as massage, and then we turn it up to 11! I use my knowledge of the body's anatomy and physiology to target injured muscle, strained connective tissues, and overstimulated nerves. People that benefit from Manual Therapy have complaints that include Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Plantar Fasciitis, among many other disorders. I truly believe that if you must talk to a doctor about a muscular or movement issue, you need Manual Therapy as part of the therapeutic process.

Manual Therapy

Body work used to alleviate chronic pain, increase physical flexibility or otherwise cause homeostasis to be re-established within the body. Includes deep tissue massage, proprioceptive nerve facilitation, trigger point therapy, and other modalities.
