Silicon Note is an offline note - taking app.

We care about the privacy and security of your personal information.

1. Data Collection

Our app is designed to be used offline, and as such, it does not collect any personal data from you. All notes and data you create in the app are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your notes or any other personal information.

2. Data Sharing

The app allows users to share their notes via third-party services (e.g., messaging apps, email) through the Android intent system. When you choose to share a note, the contents of the note will be sent to the selected third-party service, and their respective privacy policies will apply.

3. Permissions

Depending on your device "Silicon Note" mas ask for record audio permission only when user want to record their ideas. We do not collect any voice/audio from device unless you specifically trigger the record button. 

And we do not share that data with any third-party application.

4. AdMob and Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect certain information, such as device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID), IP address, and app usage data, to provide targeted advertising. This data collection is managed by Google, and we do not have access to this information.

If you are located in a region where personalized ads require user consent, you will be prompted to give consent or opt-out of personalized ads.

5. Data Security

All your notes are stored locally on your device. If you choose to enable any security features within the app, such as password protection for notes, this data is accessible only through the app on your device. We do not store or have access to your passwords.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users, including children under the age of 13. However, since the app uses AdMob, ads displayed in the app may collect limited data for ad-serving purposes. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not serve personalized ads to users under the age of 13.

7. User Rights

As all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your notes. You can delete notes at any time, and uninstalling the app will permanently remove all locally stored data. If you use a third-party backup service, such as Google Drive, you are responsible for managing your data with that service.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If there are any changes you will be notified through an app update. Continued use of the app after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
