Rutgers Symplectic Summer School 2026
August 17-21, Rutgers-New Brunswick, NJ
Location: TBD
Introduction: This is the third iteration of Rutgers Symplectic Summer School (RSSS). This year, the focus is on the integral, mod p, and p-adic aspects of Gromov-Witten theory and Floer theory in symplectic topology, ranging from foundations, including regularization of moduli spaces and new counting theory of pseudo-holomorphic curves, to applications, including arithmetic properties of the quantum connection and Hamiltonian dynamics. We will have five minicourses covering these topics. Additionally, junior participants are cordially invited to deliver 30-minute lightning talks on their own work.
Minicourses Instructors:
Paul Seidel (MIT)
Egor Shelukhin (University of Montreal)
Soham Chanda (USC)
Jae Hee Lee (Stanford)
Shaoyun Bai (MIT) and Guangbo Xu (Rutgers)
Organizers:
Guangbo Xu (Rutgers University)
