Research Experience
Development of Haptic Device for Reproducing Medical Twin based Physical Reality
I build MR-based (mixed reality) vein injection training simulation using developed haptic device in our lab.
Haptic Feedback Method for Surgical Robots by Machine Learning of Differences between High and Low Element-Density Deformation Models, and Real-Time Simulation
This project aims to provide precise haptic feedback to surgeon in surgeries using surgical robots. FEM simulation with High-resolution is accurate but since the refresh rate of haptic feedback is 1kHz, it is difficult to meet the requirement. Therefore, our approach is to mapping from low-resolution simulation to high-resolution ones. I am researching on building the mapping function.
