An infographic is a document that shows information, for example, research findings, in a way that is quick and easy to understand. An infographic will typically be one page long and will include a variety of pictures or graphics to make the information more engaging for the reader.
1
What information are you planning to share? You may share information about the problem you will be researching (i.e., background), your methods or your study's findings.
2
Why is sharing this information important? For example, will sharing this information help transform care or educate patients.
3
Who are you planning on sharing the information with (i.e., who is your target audience?). Keep in mind different target audiences will have different needs. So, it is important to tailor the information to what your target audience needs to know and to make sure that you are using language that your audience will understand.
The Suitability Assessment of Materials is a great tool to help you evaluate if your infographic is appropriate for your target audience.
