SIMON AQUI 

Simon Aqui is the Country Leader for IBM in Trinidad and Tobago, integrating IBM for local clients and aligning IBM with the country’s national agenda for economic development. 

Prior to this position, Simon served as the Business Development Executive for Caribbean Financial Services clients, and General Manager of IBM Trinidad and Tobago with responsibility for the country operations including strategic planning, sales, service delivery and support functions. Simon worked in various leadership positions at IBM over the last 27 years and spent four years working 

and studying in Silicon Valley developing managerial and technology expertise. 

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago (AMCHAM T&T), United Way of Trinidad & Tobago, and the Board of St. Dominic’s Children’s Home. 

Simon obtained his BSc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (UWI) and MBA from the University of California, Berkeley (Haas).
