Dr. Daphney Magloire

Dr. Daphney Magloire, the Caribbean Union Conference Education Director, supervises the Seventh-day Adventist primary and secondary schools in the chain of Caribbean islands from Suriname and Guyana in South America to the Virgin Islands in the North of the chain. Before being appointed to that position in November 2022, she served as the Education Director of the East Caribbean Conference for thirteen years. Dr. Magloire also had the opportunity to make distinctive imprints on the Dominica Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School, now known as Arthur Waldron Seventh-day Adventist Academy and the Temple Seventh-day Adventist Primary Schools, where she served with distinction for twenty-six years combined as principal. 

Dr. Daphney Magloire holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education Administration from the North Caribbean University, a Master's degree in Education Development Psychology and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Andrews University in Michigan, USA.

She has dedicated her life to creating opportunities for students to thrive and develop a growth mindset. Her mantra is, “God who sends us on difficult paths, will provide strong shoes for the journey.”
