Christine Cole

President, Soroptimist International Trinidad & Tobago

Christine is the current President of the Soroptimist International National Association of Trinidad and Tobago and is a member of the Chaguanas club. As a soroptimist, Christine has been actively engaged in projects in her community and the wider community that align with the vision and mission of soroptimism – centered around the education, empowerment and enabling of women and girls. 

Professionally, Christine is a Conflict Resolution Specialist and Mediator working in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago. She is passionate about using her knowledge and skills in this area to create positive change in her community and country. 

Christine has been working in conflict resolution and mediation for the last 15 years, providing training workshops to both public and private sector organizations. She is also a practicing mediator in both civil and family matters.

She holds a BSc in Psychology and Communication and an MSc in Mediation Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. She is certified in  Restorative Practices and Designing Facilitated Processes from the Peace Building Institute of the Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, USA. She is also trained in Neuro Linguistic Progamming and holds a practitioner certification.
