Aristotle said a bunch of stuff that was wrong.Galileo and Newton fixed things up. Then Einstein broke everything again. Now ,we have basically got it all worked out, except for small stuff,big stuff ,hot stuff, cold stuff,fast stuff,heavy stuff ,dark stuff turbulence and the concept of time.

The Department of physics was established in the year 1996-97. And Prof. Kokale R.G.is the Head of the Department.

Presently the subject is taught from B.Sc. I to B.Sc. III. degree level. The department is enriched with a number of teaching staff and learning equipment. Minimum ten students are admitted at B.Sc.-III level every year. The result of the department is 100%. Guest lectures are conducted by eminent personalities on different subjects. Special guidance for competitive examination is given by the faculty of the department.

Study tours, student's seminars, group discussion, skill based certificate courses, poster presentation, national science day celebration etc. organised by the department.
