Everyday Camera is a camera app that allows you to take pictures of the same subject every day, making it easy to record growth and changes over time.
Here you can find instructions on how to use the app and answers to frequently asked questions.
Launch the app and take a photo
To choose a previous photo (subject), select a category from the Gallery (or from the thumbnail area in the bottom left of the screen)
The previous photo will be displayed semi-transparently, making it easy to align your new shot
Photos are saved by date and automatically organized within each category
Categories can be added with the +Add button
From the Gallery, you can view past photos in list, 2-column, or 3-column layouts
Categories in the Gallery can be deleted by long-pressing them
Tap the ✓ button at the top of the screen to enter selection mode; select multiple photos to delete them or export them as a video
Records can also be exported as a video
Q. Can I take photos without showing the previous one?
→ Yes. You can turn off the overlay in the Settings screen.
Q. How are photos saved on the device?
→ Photos are saved by date in the app’s Gallery.
Q. What is the export format for videos?
→ Videos are saved in MP4 format. The aspect ratio is preserved according to the original photos.
Q. Is there a way to back up the data?
→ Yes. If iCloud Backup is enabled, your app data will be included in your device backup.
Version 1.0.4
A new feature has been implemented on the shooting screen: a toggle button that allows you to check the initial composition.
It is now possible to display the first photo taken for each category as an overlay.
This helps prevent the composition from gradually shifting.
