Finally—Racing Season Is Here!

Hey everyone! I’m sooooo excited because tomorrow is the first race of the season at Good’s Raceway! After two whole weeks of getting rained out at my favorite dirt track, I almost thought we’d have to wait forever. But the sun is finally coming out, the sky will be all blue, and I can’t wait to get back in the #11 car and kick up some dust!

I’ve been counting down the days like crazy. Every morning I wake up and check the weather—“Is it going to rain? Is it going to rain?!”—but nope, it’s all sunshine. 

This year is going to be AWESOME not only because the racing starts, but also because it’s going to be summer soon!  I can’t wait for vacations, and s’mores around the campfire. Racing and summer just go hand in hand!

I’ve also got my lucky racing socks ready and a brand-new notebook to write down lap times, pit crew jokes, and all the cool stuff that happens at the track. I might even start a “Race Day Snack Review” column—there’s nothing better than nachos and iced lemonade when you’re cheering from the grandstands!

It felt like our season was on hold, but now we’re blasting off into the start line faster than ever. See you at Good’s Raceway at 7 PM tomorrow—bring your noise makers, your signs, and your big smiles. Let’s make this the best season ever!

Ryan Partners with One of a Kind Pet Rescue: Racing to Help Animals in Need! 

At R & R Racing, we know that speed isn’t the only thing that matters—heart does, too! That’s why we’re excited to announce that Ryan has officially partnered with One of a Kind Pet Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to saving and finding loving homes for animals in need. This partnership means a lot to Ryan, who not only has a passion for racing but also a big love for animals.

Why One of a Kind Pet Rescue?

One of a Kind Pet Rescue is a no-kill shelter committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals. They provide medical care, love, and second chances to pets who need them most. Every dog and cat in their care is just waiting for the perfect family to take them home.

Ryan is proud to support this mission and help raise awareness for pet adoption. Just like in racing, every second counts when it comes to finding a home for these amazing animals.

 Chip’s Off-Season Upgrades: Getting Race-Ready for 2025!

Every great driver has a great sidekick, and for Ryan, that sidekick is Chip! If you’ve been following R & R Racing, you know that Chip is more than just a racing companion—he’s part of the team. And just like Ryan is always looking for ways to improve on the track, Chip is getting some well-deserved upgrades this off-season to make sure he’s ready to roll when the green flag drops in 2025!

What’s in Store for Chip?

The off-season is the perfect time to fine-tune, upgrade, and prepare for the challenges of the next racing season. Here are some of the exciting changes coming to Chip:

• A Fresh New Look – Chip is getting a facelift! With updated graphics and a new design, he’s going to be looking better than ever when he makes his 2025 debut. Thanks to Truline Graphics (and a special shoutout to Dan for bringing Chip to life), he’ll be turning heads on and off the track.

• Performance Enhancements – It’s not just about looking good—Chip is getting some under-the-hood improvements to make sure he’s running at peak performance. Whether it’s adjustments to handling, aerodynamics, or power, these tweaks will help Ryan push even harder next season.

• Stronger & Smarter – Racing is all about learning and growing, and Chip is no exception. After a full season of hard work, he’s getting reinforced where it counts to handle even the toughest competition. Every upgrade is designed to make him a more reliable and competitive force on the track.

Behind the Scenes: A Day in My Life as a Racer! 🏁🏎️

Hey everyone, it’s Ryan, driver of the #11 car for R & R Racing! Racing isn’t just about showing up and driving fast—it takes a LOT of hard work before I even hit the track. Want to know what goes on behind the scenes? Let me take you through a day in my life as a racer!

Getting Ready to Race: Training, Strategy & Car Prep 🔧🏎️

Before I even think about racing, my team—aka my dad, my papa, and my mom—make sure everything is PERFECT. Here’s how we get ready:

✅ Training: Racing takes more than just speed—it’s about focus, reaction time, and making split-second decisions. I practice a lot, watch race videos, and even do exercises to stay sharp!

✅ Race Strategy: My dad and I talk about the best way to tackle the track before I even start my engine.

✅ Car Check: My crew (my dad, papa, and mom) make sure my car is set up just right—checking the tires, engine, and everything in between. If something’s off, I could lose speed or control, and we don’t want that!

Race Day: What Happens Before & After the Green Flag 🏁🚦

Race days are CRAZY busy. Here’s what a typical one looks like for me:

⏰ Morning: First thing I do is check out the track and make sure I know what to expect. Then, we go over last-minute changes to the car.

🛠️ Before the Race: I sit in my car, put my helmet on, and get focused. I remind myself of the plan and get pumped up!

🚦 Race Time: Once that green flag drops, it's all about speed, control, and making the right moves at the right time. My goal? Take that checkered flag!

🎤 After the Race: No matter what place I finish, I always go back and watch the race to see what I can do better next time. That’s how I keep improving!

👨‍🔧 My Dad: The mastermind behind my car setup and race strategy. He makes sure my car is dialed in just right.

🛠️ My Papa: Always working in the pits, helping with last-minute adjustments, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

🚗 My Mom: She’s my biggest supporter and helps keep everything organized on race days!
