Your time is money! The money we use too support the activities and fund requests comes primarily from operating the concession stands (about 90% of funds are from concessions). It is recommended that parents volunteer a minimum of 2 shifts per activity per child. The more parents that participate, the better and the volunteer time commitment could be spread out and help lighten the load of shifts per volunteer as well as emails sent out.  Their is also a manual to reference when in the concessions.

The money the Red River booster's club uses to support the activities and fund requests that school budgets and participation fee's don't always cover come primarily from operating the concessions stands at Red River High School.  Here are some of the activities at Red River that help enrich ALL students that we have supported: Renaissance Breakfast of Champions, Freshman Orientation, Senior Blast, Senior BBQ, Teacher Appreciation, school improvements (weight room, display cases, RR logo entry mats, scoring table) and athletic requests (team awards, fan appreciation, video cameras, practice jerseys, equipment bags).

We also welcome student volunteers! It is a great way for them to earn volunteer hours if needed as well as giving back. Concession guidelines for students are: a current Red River HS student, (if not a current RR student, must be 16 years of age or older) and there must be at least 1 adult/2 student ratio maintained per shift.  If a student is signing up for a shift, please type "student, Rider Rope or Student Council"  in the activity space so we can keep the student/adult ratio correct.
