How does it work?

• UPS handles the bulk of the work but instead of delivering to the final destination, they deliver to the local USPS location and USPS handles the final "mile" delivery.

• Reduces significant cost for UPS by being able to deliver multiple packages per post office and utilizing existing post carrier routes to facilitate the final delivery.

What Qualifies for This Service?

• Shipments must be from US 48 and you are able to send to the US 50, APO/FPO/DPO, PO Box, and US territories.

• Each shipment must be a single piece forward shipment. No multi-piece shipments allowed.

• The total dimension of the package cannot exceed 130 inches if you select SurePost Less than 1 lb or SurePost 1 lb or Greater

  • • To determine this dimension, measure the package length and then add twice the width and twice the height.

All Surepost shipments have similar delivery timelines to UPS ground shipments, except 1 day added for USPS delivery after receipt at local Post Office.
