Basic Pursuit

Communications - Although this isn’t our primary focus, we shall assist you in improving this skill.

Better Driving Skills - This is our Primary focus, and we will assist you throughout the training to learn new manoeuvres and make pursuits cleaner within the city.

POI knowledge - This is linked to communications again; we shall run through it, but it isn’t our primary focus.

In pursuit, there are multiple roles; the leading role is Primary, and this role is taken by the lead vehicle. They are responsible for taking communications unless NPAS are there and always on their tail. 

Communications should always be started with your Name or Callsign, for example, ‘This is Superintendent vurhss taking Communications on a black Lamborghini.’ or ‘T-45 Taking Communications on a blue Porsche.’ Both are acceptable. After doing so, explain what you're taking communications on and why; you should include the colour, make and model of the vehicle, where they are heading, the speed of the car and any other relevant information you think is appropriate at the time.
