Rural Peoples Upliftment Foundation (RPUF) is a non partisan, and non-profit community foundation established in 2015 to bring lasting-positive social transformations by enabling the lives of our own indigenous communities along the unreached and deprived Indo-Burma border areas. We do this by partnering with resource agencies.
Bring awareness about community-led sustainable development among the disadvantaged indigenous and ethnic rural communities.
Improve access to basic services; education, health care and essential needs including food security.
Develop human resources and capacity of our traditional village institutions such as youth groups, women and men groups, village development committees/authorities.
Cultivate and enhance the already existing potentials in youth, traditional knowledge and grassroots leadership to be able to partner with today's resource agencies.
Usher community development projects in critical thematic sectors such as education, health, agriculture & livelihoods, ecology-forest-environment & climate change, village development funds (rural banks), disaster risk reduction and youth actions.
Undertake activities contributing to ecologically sound and socially relevant development projects in the interest of the indigenous-rural communities in Myanmar by partnering with interested individuals, resource agencies, and philanthropic foundations.
