MESSAGE FROM MR. QUACKENBUSH

Ashley & Debora's smart school app placed 2nd in Felician University's Business Idea Competition. The Smart School app is designed to bring communities together one school at a time. Within the app students, parents, staff, and the community can access information about the school, school calendar, academics, local businesses, and will have a social platform. Professor Muir will be personally funding the development of the app with $5,000.

 "The entire experience of Smart School has been amazing. We learned how to come up with a company and how to present it in a good manner. The next step for us now is to go into an incubation program at Felician University where we will take the idea of our app and make it into an actual app. We will learn all the aspects of having and making a business. The next steps will be a life learning experience and I am extremely grateful for that."
